DESCRIPTION:
Clocks- 2 (Two) 8 day, time and strike wood case mantel clocks, New Haven "Tambour No 1/2" and French, 20th century
CONDITION:
The solid mahogany tambour, with old surface, has a pristine porcelain dial and round movement with rack & snail striking, ht 10 1/2". The other clock combines an old Marti exposed-escapement movement, porcelain dial, thick beveled glass, and brass hardware (but wrong pendulum and soldered-on bell stand) with a highly decorative but newer made-up wood case with cameo and pearl panels, ht 12". Movements may need service.
